Angled Windows
Angled windows are a new trend that can often be found in contemporary homes. These windows add a dramatic flair to any room, but it can be challenging to find the right window covering for them. Since the windows themselves are often a statement piece, we suggest using Hunter Douglas Heritance® Hardwood Shutters, which, as window treatment, serve as a statement that can be seen from the inside and outside. At Jackie and Bill’s Draperies & Interiors, we carry a wide selection of blinds, shades and shutters that can be custom fit for your angled windows and match your design inspiration.
Arched Windows
While arched windows add charm and flair to your home, they can also prove challenging to fit for window treatments. We suggest the Hunter Douglas Duette® Honeycomb Shades with the EasyView® Arch. Bay Windows and box windows are a feature that give a typically flat wall a picturesque element and dimension. A bay window consists of three windows that are positioned to each other at an angled shape, where a box window consists of four or more windows in a curved shape. For either type of window, window treatments are generally standard rectangular installations since each window is independent of the others, so your choices for window treatments are varied!
